Bulbasaur Twitch Chat Badge

Bulbasaur is a limited-time global chat badge introduced as part of Twitch’s new special campaign, featuring a unique reward system inspired by Pokémon’s Poké Balls.

By watching a participating channel for 20 minutes on 3 different days while having a gifted or recurring subscription, you can earn a Great Ball. The Great Ball then opens automatically, awarding you one of three Pokémon Chat Badges: Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle.

So, to receive one badge, you need 1 subscription and 3 days of watching for 20 minutes each day. To collect all three badges, you need 3 subscriptions and 9 days of watching for 20 minutes each day. The days do not need to be consecutive, and your watch time can be accumulated across participating channels.

Participating channels include channels streaming in Pokémon-related categories, or Just Chatting, DJs, Sports, Music, or Art categories. BadgeBase may also participate when streaming in an eligible category.

You can start making progress toward the rewards on any day during the campaign period.

The campaign also includes a free Pokémon Chat Badge, Pichu, which can be obtained for free through a regular Poké Ball without a subscription.

Evolution: Twitch has announced that evolved versions of these badges are coming in the future, earned by watching more qualifying content.
